DESIGNER // PHOTOGRAPHER // MAKER
Hi, I'm Stacy Townsend, the lady behind Townsend Collective. I love design and live for hearing and telling compelling stories. I spend my time creating thoughtful brand experiences, capturing monumental life experiences and creating beautiful things. I melt over well told stories, visually or otherwise. Meeting passionate people is, hands down, the best part of my job.

After obtaining my BFA in Graphic Design, I have found that I am constantly designing, and redesigning, the world around me. I find the art of building identities that communicate the core values of a company endlessly fascinating. I love exploring different ways of visually communicating the unwritten messages behind each project that I work on. My style is clean, and relevant, and I believe that design is a collaboration. I aim to create designs that my clients feel very connected to, which are created around honesty and openness and the sharing of feedback. As an alternative to large studios, I aim to provide a very customized and personal design experience for my clients.
Photography has been a big part of my full time job since 2009. I found my true love for photography on a guest ranch in Paradise Valley. The foundation of my shooting style was built while chasing adventure, with a mission to capture people experiencing – and falling in love with – the American West. I love raw, gorgeous and honest images. My photography is very personal – it resembles who I am and the way I see the world. I also believe that photography is not just about the end product; it’s about the experiences that you have, and create, along the way. Weddings are the best days of my life. I absolutely love love. To keep it this way, I accept limited weddings every year. Shoot me a note if you have any questions about availability.
I have making jewelry (and many other things) since I was a small child. I never imagined that I would still be doing this – and loving it – as an adult. I was fortunate to grow up in a creative home where I made things with reckless abandon. There were no rules when it came to creating, just materials and my imagination. This is still the way I work. I love the search for beautiful things in nature, and in design. I especially love when others find comfort and beauty when wearing the pieces that I create.
